About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining proper cooking procedures for the fryer. The operator will inspect the fryer at start-up for proper sanitation cleaning and to ensure it is assembled correctly. The operator will operate the fryer based on product specifications, clean out grease traps and drip pans, and change the oil if necessary. The role requires the ability to work 5 to 7 days a week, with 10-hour shifts. The job involves standing or walking for long periods, bending, and lifting various weights up to 70 pounds. The pace of work can be fast, and the role requires reaching, pulling, pushing, and using stairs. The work environment includes exposure to heat, cold, high humidity, and wet floors, with potentially high noise levels. Additional duties may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • 3 months Operator experience within the last 12 months listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 3 months).
  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
  • Must complete the final task separate from the application.

  • Full Length Pants (No shorts, No tight fitting or Yoga style pants are allowed. Pants must not be tucked into boots.)
  • Fryer, Lockout/Tagout, Jack/Forklift training is required.
  • Fire Extinguisher knowledge.
  • Awareness of pinch points in machines (Slicers, Dumpers, Marinators, Mixers, Progrills, Formax, Breaders, etc.).
  • Awareness of chemical hazards (Incidental Ammonia leak, Incidental Carbon Monoxide exposure, Bleach Tanks, CO2 fill stations, Sanitation chemical rooms, Chemical use during sanitation such as Foaming, Sanitizing, Boil outs in Ovens and Fryers, etc.).
  • Awareness of hot surfaces near Ovens, Fryers, Progrills, etc.
