About The Position

Responsible for placing stacks of filled product racks into a blast tunnel. The primary tasks involve grasping a stack of product racks on a wheel, pulling or pushing the stack (requiring walking with it), positioning the stack into one of three lanes in the blast tunnel by aligning its wheels with tracks in the floor, and then pushing the stack onto the tracks and the blast tunnel chain. Once positioned, the stack of racks is released, and the blast tunnel chain pulls it through the blast tunnel. Other duties include assisting in removing rack spills within the blast tunnel as needed and picking up fallen product to process according to procedure.

Requirements

At least six months of relative operator experience with a single employer within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

Placing stacks of filled product racks into the blast tunnel.
Grasping a stack of product racks on a wheel.
Pulling or pushing the stack, requiring walking with it.
Positioning the stack into one of three lanes in the blast tunnel.
Aligning wheels with tracks in the floor of the blast tunnel.

Releasing the stack of racks.
Assisting in removing rack spills in the blast tunnel as needed.
Picking up product that falls out of racks and processing it according to procedure.
