About The Position

Utz Quality Foods is seeking a Fryer Operator for its Kings Mountain, North Carolina facility. The role involves operating and adjusting fryer equipment to meet production goals, maintaining and troubleshooting machinery, monitoring production quality, and following safety and food safety procedures. Operators work with a team to meet production standards and perform data entry and communication tasks. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to operate production and data entry equipment.
• Follow personal and food safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ability to multitask and strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented, with effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficiency with basic hand tools, including Allen wrenches and screwdrivers.
• Knowledge of safe operating practices, including lock-out/tag-out programs and food safety.
• Ability to stand most of the time.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to work around consistently hot equipment and in warm-to-hot environments.
• Strong commitment to company values.

Nice To Haves

• One to two years of food manufacturing experience preferred.
• Bilingual ability preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities
