About The Position

Yokozuna is an Asian restaurant and sushi bar located in Downtown Tulsa and South Tulsa, serving sushi, Asian fusion dishes, and a varied entrée menu. The Fry/Salad Cook prepares menu items, ensures food quality and proper cooking temperatures, and works with the kitchen team to support timely food preparation. The role requires maintaining safety and sanitation standards and performing portion and quality control.

Requirements

Minimum of one year of cooking experience.
Willingness to cross-train.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Must provide a THD Food Handler.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of menu items using grills, ovens, and other equipment.
Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and meets quality standards.
Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
Uphold safety and sanitation standards.
Perform portion and quality control.
