About The Position

The Concessions Cook prepares, cooks, and serves products according to recipe specifications and food safety and sanitation guidelines. The role requires a reasonable knowledge of kitchen fundamentals and organization, and the ability to run a station independently. The cook helps create an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, efficient service and working professionally with teammates and guests.

Requirements

• Ability to run a kitchen station solo.
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and comprehended English.
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions with little guidance.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to react with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
• Physical stamina and agility to remain mobile for long periods throughout the day.
• Ability to lift or move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move from sitting to standing easily and quickly.

• One year or more of foodservice or hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook products according to recipe specifications and food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Know the menu items specific to the position.
• Apply kitchen fundamentals, including seasoning and organization.
• Follow production guidelines and location appearance guidelines.
• Provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests with a sense of urgency.
• Properly control and handle inventory and equipment.
• Follow Levy guidelines in the team member training manual and employee handbook.
• Complete set-up and breakdown responsibilities.
• Use good safety and sanitation practices.
• Maintain a positive attitude toward teammates, managers, and other groups.
• Be punctual and ready to perform required duties.
• Help fellow team members when necessary.
• Remain physically engaged with guests and mobile for extended periods.
