About The Position

The Frontier Engineer will use generative AI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot to implement changes on Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms. The role develops and enhances API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular across cloud-native environments, and designs and builds cloud-native solutions that include CI/CD DevOps pipelines and database engineering.

The engineer will architect enterprise-scale agent deployments on leading AI platforms, creating trust layers and cross-agent governance frameworks to support responsible AI adoption. Working as a polyglot engineer with development, QA, cloud engineering, and database engineering workstreams, the role contributes to delivery of a pilot. This is a six-month temporary, onsite assignment in Phoenix, Arizona.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience as a Frontier Engineer, with expertise using GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
• Polyglot development expertise in Angular or React or Node.js, Java and Spring Boot, and Python.
• Strong API development experience.
• Expertise in MCP, RAG-at-scale and grounding strategy, plus knowledge graph and ontology engineering.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices in cloud-native environments.
• Database engineering experience.
• Familiarity with migrating applications between Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.
• Experience applying GenAI tools to development and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Use GenAI tools such as Devin, Claude, Codex, and GitHub Copilot to implement changes required on Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms.
• Develop and enhance API and UI components using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular across cloud-native environments.
• Design and build cloud-native solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure, including CI/CD DevOps pipelines and database engineering.
• Architect enterprise-scale agent deployments on leading AI platforms.
• Create trust layers and cross-agent governance frameworks to enable responsible AI adoption.
• Collaborate across development, QA, cloud engineering, and database engineering workstreams to deliver the pilot.
