About the position

As a Front End Tech lead at Via, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of Via's transportation operation centers worldwide. You will be responsible for enhancing the performance and user experience of Via's main business through the implementation of new features and the refinement of existing ones. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide team members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. This position requires a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience and expertise in ReactJS, Redux, React Query, and React testing library.

Responsibilities

Dive into an existing large-scale project with high complexity.
Conduct technical design and architecture discussions, making informed decisions to ensure the scalability and extensibility of the product.
Take ownership of resolving complex technical and business challenges, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
Promote and enforce best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, refactoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Mentor and guide team members, elevating their frontend development skills and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Improve the user experience across Via's platform.

Requirements

BSc. Computer Science or similar
Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience
Experience with ReactJS, Redux, React Query, React testing library
Strong knowledge of Javascript
Back-End development experience (Python) - Advantage
