About The Position

Tether is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build interfaces for QV.AC, translating AI intelligence into meaningful human experiences. The role contributes directly to how users perceive and rely on the product in the local AI assistant market. The engineer will develop responsive, high-performance interfaces and application state, deliver features and fixes, and help maintain a reliable, high-quality codebase. The position is listed as 100% remote worldwide and involves working with a globally distributed team.

Requirements

• Proven experience with React or Preact and modern JavaScript or TypeScript in production-scale applications.
• Strong competency in state management, such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar.
• Ability to write modular, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Solid skills in testing and debugging complex frontend applications.
• Deep interest or experience with peer-to-peer technologies or distributed systems.
• Comfort working in a remote, globally distributed team and good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar runtimes.
• Familiarity with video/audio APIs, including WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management.
• Experience building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or other platforms.
• Past contributions to open-source projects, especially in peer-to-peer or decentralized technology.
