About The Position

The Senior to Staff Frontend Engineer will lead feature development and serve as a technical expert, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. The role focuses on platform performance, infrastructure improvements, and user experience. The engineer will develop and enhance the web application, evolve it into a responsive single-page application, and help ensure it meets business goals and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience developing and architecting single-page web applications using a JavaScript framework.
• Strong proficiency in clean, reusable, and optimized HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with Linux.
• Familiarity with REST API principles.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Strong ability to debug and write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Passion for exploring and using the latest development tools and platforms.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with an AWS environment.
• Experience with WebSockets.
• A BS or MS in computer science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of the web application.
• Architect and refine the application into a responsive single-page application with a focus on performance and user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable code that follows industry best practices and internal coding standards.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve bugs to improve application quality and stability.
• Test the application to ensure it meets security standards and performs efficiently across platforms and devices.
• Validate functionality and user experience across browsers, platforms, and devices.
• Explore and evaluate technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve development processes and product offerings.
• Help set coding standards and lead code reviews to maintain code quality and encourage knowledge sharing.
