Frontend Engineer

As a Frontend Engineer at Showpad, you will be responsible for maintaining and building features within a cross-functional development team. Working closely with a product owner, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of various applications. The team focuses on the Showpad Coach product line, utilizing technologies such as Typescript, Angular, and reactive programming. Showpad values a testing-first mindset and encourages continuous learning and improvement within a supportive and fun environment.

• Maintain and build features for various applications within a cross-functional development team
• Collaborate with a product owner inside the scrum framework
• Determine the look, feel, and development of applications
• Use Typescript, Angular, and reactive programming for the Showpad Coach product line
• Apply best practices for testing and keep the codebase modern

• Have a testing-first mindset
• Have knowledge of RxJS, Nrwl Nx, and Signals (bonus points)
• Work inside a SaaS company (bonus points)
• Have experience with different testing layers, good testing principles, and continuous deployment and integration (bonus points)

• Professional experience with Angular or another modern JavaScript web framework (React, Vue, Solid, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript & TypeScript concepts
• Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment
• Understanding in core web and browser concepts (eg. how the browser parses and constructs a web page) and modern browser API's
• Testing-first mindset
• Knowledge of RxJS, Nrwl Nx, Signals (Bonus Points)
• Experience working inside a SaaS company (Bonus Points)
• Experience with different testing layers, and good testing principles (Bonus Points)
• Experience with continuous deployment and integration (Bonus Points)
