About The Position

The Frontend Developer Intern will contribute to web-based analytics applications for an industrial-scale data analytics platform. Working with experienced software engineers and stakeholders, the intern will help create intuitive, reliable, and scalable user experiences that turn complex data into actionable insights. The role offers hands-on experience with frontend development, data visualization, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, while applying software engineering practices that support ASML’s lithography technologies.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree candidates must have completed at least three years of study.
• Experience through coursework, personal projects, research, or internships involving software development.
• Experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, or other modern programming languages.
• Familiarity with data analysis concepts, including data aggregation and basic statistical methods.
• Experience using version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to develop web applications using modern frontend development practices.
• Ability to build responsive user interfaces with React and component-based architectures.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and interpret data to support business and engineering objectives.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot software issues and improve user experience.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with relational databases and data-driven applications.
• Familiarity with frontend UI libraries and data visualization tools such as Ant Design and ECharts.
• Ability to use Python or other scripting languages to support development and analytics activities.
• Knowledge of Git and version control best practices in a collaborative development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance web application features using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
