About The Position

The Front Parts Counterperson sells parts to The Larson Group Peterbilt customers and provides professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service. The role supports day-to-day Parts Department operations, including responding to customer calls, ordering and organizing inventory, and assisting the Back Parts Counter when needed. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

• Should possess a high school diploma.
• Experience in a related field is preferred.
• Must be able to perform the duties of a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Answer Parts Department phone calls.
• Place parts orders as needed.
• Check in freight and stock shelves as needed.
• Stay current on available training, especially product knowledge and customer service.
• Work with Outside Sales employees on questions and orders.
• Keep Parts Department shelves clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Receive payment on all cash tickets.
• Support the Back Parts Counter when customer volume requires it or an employee is absent.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
