About The Position

At Retina Associate of St. Louis, with locations in Florissant, Des Peres, and St. Peters MO, we have an immediate opening for a Front Office Staff Administrator at our St. Peters location. The responsibilities include providing the highest level of communication and service to all patients, staff, and management team. The ideal candidate would have strong customer service and communications skills to interact positively with patients. Must have the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple responsibilities and handle interruptions positively. Strong organization skills. Problem-solving. Compassion to help patients and caregivers. Have an understanding of electronic health records, medical terminology, and HIPPA compliance. Ophthalmology experience would be a huge plus. Must be able to travel to other locations as needed. Previous medical setting experience preferred. This is a Monday to Friday, day-shift position. No weekends and No holidays! Requirements

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Understanding of electronic health records, medical terminology, and HIPPA compliance.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Stable work history in a medical/surgical practice for at least 5 years and a strong insurance background
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and mentor employees
