Southwest Behavioral and Health Services is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Front Office Representative to join its Erickson Outpatient Clinic. This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position supports the clinic by processing medication refill requests, prior authorizations, and lab results; managing prescriber schedules; and serving as a liaison among consumers, prescribers, and other clinical staff. Medical Assistants are encouraged to apply. The role may require work at various SB&H locations. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, prior clerical experience (preferably in behavioral health), and fingerprint clearance issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or eligibility to receive clearance upon hire. Coursework may be considered in place of part of the experience requirements. Medical Assistant training or certification, 1–2 years of medical or behavioral health experience, and English/Spanish bilingual ability are preferred. SB&H is a non-profit, community-based behavioral health provider with more than 115 sites, over one thousand employees, and 40 years of experience. The organization describes its culture as Empowered Belonging, emphasizing voice and visibility, fair access, connection, learning and growth, and wellbeing and safety. The workplace is drug-free; drug screening is required. SB&H is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
