About The Position

General Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Front Office Manager to lead Front Desk operations at the Crowne Plaza Indianapolis Airport and help create exceptional guest experiences from check-in to check-out. We’re looking for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, supports their team, and understands the importance of service, professionalism, and operational excellence. As Front Office Manager, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the Front Desk while helping ensure guests receive outstanding service and team members feel supported, trained, and motivated to succeed.

Requirements

  • Previous Front Desk or hotel supervisory experience required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills
  • Experience with hotel PMS systems required
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead teams while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Experience handling guest concerns and service recovery situations
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

Nice To Haves

  • Budgeting, scheduling, or labor management experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all Front Desk and guest service operations
  • Lead, coach, and support Front Desk team members
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and training front office staff
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and implement service recovery solutions
  • Monitor room inventory, occupancy, and guest billing accuracy
  • Work closely with Housekeeping, Sales, and other departments to support hotel operations
  • Maintain brand standards and ensure operational compliance
  • Participate in Manager on Duty responsibilities as needed
  • Review reports, daily operations, and department performance metrics
  • Support labor management, scheduling, and operational efficiency
  • Help create a positive, team-oriented work environment
