About The Position

As a front office coordinator at our Ankeny office, you will be responsible for assisting patients with the check in process for physical/hand therapy appointments and provide verification of services with insurance. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining efficient communication with patients and providers. You will be someone who is passionate about providing an outstanding experience for our patients. This is a full time opportunity working Mon-Friday between hours of 1Pm to Close ( 6pm ). Providing and obtaining necessary paperwork from patients for their orthopaedic appointment. Communicating with patients that may not be pleasant at times, yet are grateful for our guidance and assistance in getting them back to living. Sitting at a desk for extended periods of time that may seem unnatural. This is a private practice that expects outstanding experiences for patients throughout their orthopaedic journey.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a medical front office position.
  • Passion for patient well-being.
  • Professionalism when interacting with patients and clinical staff members.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while staying organized.
  • Practice of listening, asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting patients and co-workers.
  • Dependability to ensure patients receive timely care, promote a reliable healthcare environment, and support the overall efficiency of the team.
  • Completion of a criminal background check, federal background checks, education verification, reference checks, and an initial TB test upon conditional offer of employment.
