About The Position

As a front office coordinator at our Ankeny office, you will be responsible for assisting patients with the check-in process for physical/hand therapy appointments and provide verification of services with insurance. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment and maintaining efficient communication with patients and providers. You will be someone who is passionate about providing an outstanding experience for our patients. This is a full-time opportunity working Mon-Friday between hours of 1 PM to Close (6 PM). This is a private practice that expects outstanding experiences for patients throughout their orthopaedic journey.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a medical front office position.
  • Professionalism: Display a high-level of professionalism when interacting with patients and clinical staff members.
  • Multi-tasker: Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time while staying organized.
  • Curiosity: Practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions and avoiding interrupting patients and co-workers.
  • Dependability: Ensures patients receive timely care, promotes a reliable healthcare environment, and supports the overall efficiency of the team.
  • Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment at DMOS will be required to complete a criminal background check, federal background checks, education verification, reference checks, and an initial TB test.

Responsibilities
