The Front Office Assistant Manager will supervise the procedural aspects of the hotel’s front office, including Front Desk, Valet, PBX, and Reservations. This role requires maintaining a presence during peak traffic periods and ensuring guest and employee needs are met in a timely, professional, and friendly manner, with a focus on service recovery. The Assistant Manager will also perform front desk agent duties as necessary, such as registration, check-out, and processing room reservations. A key responsibility is ensuring the proper execution of VIP requirements and adherence to all safety and security policies. This position involves assisting with training, coaching, development, and interviewing of team members, as well as maintaining up-to-date knowledge of property amenities and special events. The role includes preparing daily reports, understanding and assisting in solving front office standard deficiencies, and providing guests with information about the property and local areas. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will complete cashier and closing reports, follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and develop positive working relationships with colleagues. The role also includes performing other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
