About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by completing purchases accurately and interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient manner. The role includes scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by rotating among checkout transactions, cart collection, supply restocking, and checkout-area upkeep. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing customer flow and priorities.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including scanning items and handling cash, card, and digital payments.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions and checkout needs.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain an organized, clean checkout area.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer-service questions.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
