About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by accurately completing purchases and providing friendly, efficient customer service. Tasks include scanning items, bagging groceries, answering questions, handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and keeping the checkout area clean and organized. The work is active, with changing priorities and a steady flow of customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and assist customers with questions.
• Collect carts and restock supplies.
• Keep the front end and checkout area clean, organized, and running consistently.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
