About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by completing purchases accurately and interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Tasks include scanning items, bagging groceries, processing payments, answering questions, and helping ensure each visit ends well.

You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently. You may rotate among handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing priorities and customer flow.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, apply pricing and produce codes accurately, and complete orders.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions and checkout needs.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain an organized, clean checkout area.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
