About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by accurately completing purchases and interacting with customers in a friendly, efficient manner. Tasks include scanning and bagging groceries, answering questions, and processing cash, card, and digital payments.

You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently. Work may rotate among handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The role involves changing priorities and customer flow in an active, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older, or 18 or older depending on local and state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, bag groceries, and help customers with questions.
• Maintain accuracy in pricing, produce codes, and order completion.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Handle cash transactions, count change, and balance registers.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
