About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth, positive checkout experience by processing purchases accurately, bagging groceries, and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and running consistently. Duties rotate among handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area in an active, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or 18 years old depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, verify pricing and produce codes, and complete orders accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions or checkout needs.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Handle cash transactions, count change, and balance registers.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
