About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help provide customers with a smooth and positive checkout experience. You complete purchases accurately and keep interactions friendly and efficient by scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering questions. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and running consistently throughout the day. Tasks may include handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The role involves an active, fast-paced environment with changing priorities and customer flow.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or 18 years old depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, verify pricing and produce codes, and complete orders accurately.
• Bag groceries and assist customers with questions or checkout needs.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain the checkout area and front end.
• Handle cash, count change, and balance registers.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, or customer service questions.
