About The Position

As a Front-End Team Member, you help create a smooth and positive checkout experience by accurately completing purchases and providing friendly, efficient customer service. Duties include scanning items, bagging groceries, and answering customer questions. You also help keep the front end organized, clean, and operating consistently by handling transactions, collecting carts, restocking supplies, and maintaining the checkout area. The work is active and fast-paced, with changing priorities and customer flow. The position is entry level and offers advancement opportunity. Company cashier or front-end training is completed upon hire.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old, or at least 18 depending on local or state requirements.
• Complete company cashier or front-end training upon hire.
• Basic math and communication skills are required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfort standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Scan items, verify pricing and produce codes, complete orders, and bag groceries.
• Provide friendly customer assistance and answer checkout questions.
• Handle cash, count change, and balance registers.
• Collect carts, restock supplies, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Recognize and address pricing, transaction, and customer service questions.
• Follow company policies, register procedures, and checkout processes.
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow throughout the shift.
