About the position
This position is a 100% remote role in India, where you will be joining a team of talented engineers focused on distributed systems and scalability. As part of a cross-functional agile team, you will contribute to building features for Weave's desktop clients using web technologies. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the customer experience and you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a highly skilled team in a high-trust environment. With a focus on code quality and a commitment to continuous development, this role offers the chance to apply and grow your engineering skills while contributing to the success of Weave.
Responsibilities
- Build features for Weave's desktop clients using web technologies (TypeScript/React/HTML/CSS)
- Contribute to the underlying platform and libraries
- Coordinate work efforts with other teams and individuals
- Ensure long-term code quality of written and maintained code
- Collaborate as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
- Enjoy working in a high-trust environment
- Develop rich applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other web technologies
- Have experience with modern web application frameworks (React, Angular, etc.)
- Work remotely from any location in India
- Impact the customer experience at Weave
- Cultivate and contribute to Weave's culture
Requirements
- 4+ years experience developing rich applications using TypeScript/JavaScript and other web technologies
- 3+ years experience with at least one or more modern web application framework (React, Angular, etc.)
- Ability to build features targeting Weave's desktop clients using web technologies (TypeScript/React/HTML/CSS)
- Strong communication skills to coordinate work efforts with other teams and individuals
- Responsibility for long term code quality and maintenance
- Ability to pitch in and contribute as a valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
- Enjoyment of collaborating in a high-trust environment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to work remotely from any location in India
