Front-end Developer
About The Position
RecruitGo is an Employer of Record company connecting talent in emerging markets with global clients. The Front-end Developer will build and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications using React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript. The role includes developing reusable UI components, implementing responsive layouts with Tailwind CSS, integrating frontend applications with backend APIs, and troubleshooting bugs and performance issues. The developer will collaborate with backend developers and other team members, follow Git-based workflows and development standards, participate in code reviews, document technical work, and support new applications and features, including greenfield projects. The position is full-time and remote, with a stated salary range of PHP 50,000 to PHP 60,000.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on professional experience developing applications with React.
- Practical experience with Next.js, specifically the App Router.
- Strong fundamentals in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience using Tailwind CSS to style and build responsive interfaces.
- Comfort with Git, including branching, pull requests, and code review processes.
- Understanding of component-based development and the ability to build reusable UI components.
- Familiarity with REST API integration, including authentication, query parameters, loading states, and error handling.
- Ability to read API documentation, including Postman collections, and implement frontend features according to defined API contracts.
- Good understanding of responsive design, frontend debugging, and maintainable coding practices.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design specifications into functional user interfaces.
- Good communication and collaboration skills when working with developers and stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with AWS Amplify.
- Exposure to deploying or hosting frontend applications using cloud-based services.
- Experience working on greenfield applications or projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js App Router, and TypeScript.
- Build reusable, component-based user interfaces aligned with design specifications and application requirements.
- Implement responsive layouts and styling using Tailwind CSS.
- Integrate REST APIs into frontend applications, including authentication, query parameters, loading states, and error responses.
- Review API documentation and Postman collections to understand API contracts and implement corresponding frontend functionality.
- Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to ensure seamless frontend and backend integration.
- Use Git for version control, including branching, pull requests, and code review workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend bugs, compatibility issues, and performance concerns.
- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback to maintain code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
- Support development of new applications and features, including greenfield projects.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and follow established development standards.
- Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate superior or authorized company representatives.
- Work with the internal team to ensure timely delivery of services to clients and that client expectations are met.
