About The Position

Join us at Town & Country Market Poulsbo and help us in our new Restaurant! We're willing to train aspiring Front End Clerk/Bussers and help you grow your skills. This is a Hybrid position that will assist in both our Front End Department as well as our Field House Restaurant!

Requirements

• Interest and enthusiasm to work in multiple departments and learn multiple positions
• Ability to work well with a diverse group of guests and employees
• Excellent guest service skills and displays excellent work ethic
• Must be punctual with flexibility to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be a team player with the ability to take direction and carry out department tasks
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Possess full body mobility (bending, stooping, twisting and reaching) with excellent manual dexterity
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
• Exemplifies health department standards
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

• Operates across multiple departments in addition to the Front-End including Restaurant Operations, Grocery, Bulk Foods, Produce and other departments as assigned by the Front End. Those not 21 years of age may not work in Beer/Wine/Spirits, nor do take-backs of alcoholic beverages
• Bags and carries out groceries
• Retrieves and organizes carts
• Assists with Restaurant Operations: Bus tables, deliver food to tables, check in with guests, and clean tables when needed
• Assists with price checks when needed
• Maintains the cleanliness of the front-end/parking lot/restrooms/restaurant
• Assists with sanitation of carts, handbaskets, and frequently touched surfaces
• Provides excellent guest service
• Greets guests and thanks guests for their patronage
• Anticipates and fulfills the guest’s needs
• Ensures products are fresh, faced, rotated and well-stocked, including throwing freight
• Demonstrates attitude of service to co-workers and guests
• Supports and follows all company and department policies
• Supports and follows sustainability programs and safety and security policies
• Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business Principles
