About The Position

The Front End Clerk is responsible for providing world-famous friendly customer service to customers, team members, and outside vendors. Key duties include cashiering, bagging groceries, cleaning, merchandising, stocking, rotating product, and facing. The role involves accurately handling cashier responsibilities, counting change, and bagging groceries appropriately. Clerks are expected to carry out groceries to customer vehicles, ensure perishable merchandise is rotated, and remove out-of-date products. They must greet customers, maintain a neat appearance, keep shelves fully stocked, assist with building store displays, and keep their work area, check stand, and front end clean. Adherence to all company policies and departmental procedures is required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to count change & balance cash drawer
Ability to read case labels and shelf tags
Ability to multi task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency

Responsibilities

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors
Cashier responsibilities, smile, greet, count back change accurately
Bag groceries accordingly (like items together)
Carry out groceries to customers vehicles
Keep perishable merchandise rotated & pull out of date product as needed
Greet customers who come into the store and be observant
Maintain a neat appearance according to the company’s dress code policy
Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided
Assist in building store displays
Observe policies and procedures established for each department
Keep work area, check stand, front end clean
Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook
