This role is responsible for ensuring proper staffing levels of front office associates, including interviewing, hiring, supervising, training, and scheduling. The position requires a complete understanding of Front Office staff's roles and duties, and the ability to perform them at any given time. Key responsibilities include accurately managing and operating the MICROS system, processing daily transactions, checking discrepancy reports, and communicating with other departments regarding guest rooms and maintenance needs. The role also involves greeting and cordially communicating with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out, answering questions, and assisting with guest needs.
