About The Position

To effectively and efficiently check in patients, verify insurance eligibility, confirm and/or reschedule appointments as needed, and collect payments for services provided. The front desk performs many tasks requiring both interpersonal and technical skills.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients as soon as they arrive at the office
  • Check-in patients and hand proper paperwork
  • Answer incoming phone calls and help patients with any dental request
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office safety and security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Book and Confirm patient's appointments
