The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. This role requires directing, implementing, and maintaining a strong service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective staff. The position also involves being available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Key duties include maintaining complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures, handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service, monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas, presenting guest folios and processing payments, and adhering to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
