About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai oversees Front Desk operations and helps shape the guest experience through exceptional resort knowledge, enthusiasm, and hospitality. The role covers both manager and agent shifts and includes responding to guest requests, resolving complaints, and ensuring efficient, friendly check-ins. The supervisor also supports Front Desk Managers with scheduling, daily task oversight, team performance, coverage, and other managerial duties. Legal work authorization in the United States is required.

Requirements

• Three to twelve months of previous Reservations and/or Front Office experience.
• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to accurately read and work with computer systems.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Run daily reports for the Front Desk department, operational departments, Sales & Marketing, the General Manager, and Department Heads.
• Check guests in efficiently and warmly, use their names when possible, ensure the requested room type and correct rate, arrange luggage delivery, and issue the correct keys.
• Oversee Front Desk operations and respond to guest needs and requests; cover both manager and agent shifts.
• Maximize revenue by upselling guest rooms based on availability.
• Maintain the assigned hotel bank, make change, cash checks, exchange foreign currency, and reconcile transactions at the end of each shift.
• Handle guest interactions professionally and with hospitality, accommodate special requests when possible, resolve complaints, answer inquiries about hotel services and operations, personnel, events, and directions, and respond accurately and promptly to requests in person and by phone.
• Assist Front Desk Managers with scheduling, overseeing daily tasks, managing team performance and coverage, and other managerial duties.
