Pathways to Community is a collaborative partnership between the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office and Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) that provides reentry support to individuals transitioning from the Coconino County Detention Facility back into the community. The Pathways to Community Front Desk Resource Specialist position will serve as the primary point of contact for clients at the front desk at the Pathways to Community program. This position will engage with clients as they are released, provide basic resource navigation that can be addressed at the front desk, and triage individuals to the appropriate staff or community resource based on their identified needs. The position will conduct client screenings as needed and serve as a backup to the Community Health Worker team to support client engagement, resource navigation, and other CHW-related duties. The position will also provide administrative support to the Pathways team and will operate on site with no remote work opportunities. This position is funded by Pathways Legislative SB1735 through 06/30/2027. The ideal candidate will have a deep connection to the justice involved clients that Pathways serves. This candidate will have some form of lived experience that allows them to connect with clients, and will be committed to engaging clients who are leaving incarceration to help support their successful re-integration into community. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the challenges that individuals leaving incarceration face, and will be enthusiastic about maintaining a positive, welcoming environment at the Pathways site, helping clients navigate the services available, assisting with basic need connection and supporting the Pathways team through front desk administrative support. This position is safety sensitive and non-exempt from overtime.
