Its mission is to improve quality of life in Arizona and Nevada through personalized healthcare, with an emphasis on preventing leading causes of death. The organization offers primary care and services including cardiovascular health, behavioral health, allergy testing and immunotherapy, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management, and other specialty health services. Optima Medical is seeking a Front Desk Representative to join its team.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of customer service experience is required.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of medical front office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage.
• Collect past-due balances and copayments when patients check in.
• Answer phones and relay messages.
• Confirm patient appointments.
• Schedule initial and follow-up appointments.
• Input and update patient information, including insurance details.
