About The Position

The Front Desk Manager is responsible for supporting the Front Desk team by ensuring a high level of team and guest satisfaction, maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and promoting Spectrum values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Front Desk experience, required
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory/management experience, required
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Must have above average computer skills with Microsoft Office programs knowledge and the ability to learn property-specific systems.
  • Must have excellent team leadership and developmental skills
  • Must be able to encourage a positive attitude in all team members.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Front Desk team to include scheduling, hiring, training, discipline, etc.
  • Oversee preparation of daily activities/duties of Front Desk.
  • Oversee the completion of checklists; audit checklists for accuracy
  • Ensure guest arrival/departure information is prepared.
  • Assist team with checking guests in/out and other duties as needed
  • Audit daily reports from Front Desk to ensure proper check/cash handling and daily reports are balanced
  • Ensure that calls are answered promptly and courteously.
  • Assist with problem resolution
  • Maintain good communication between departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned
