The Front Desk Lead will oversee many of the front desk activities, being the primary point of contact for the front desk employees and ensures all front desk job duty functions are handled proficiently. The Lead will also participate in the front desk tasks, which include but are not limited to greeting patients and visitors as they enter the clinic, making them feel welcome and assist with coordination of care using various software/database systems, confirming and scheduling appointments. Answers phones in a professional manner and assists callers with information as needed. Notifies medical personnel of their arrival as necessary, collects insurance information and payments if necessary, and takes responsibility for keeping the front reception area clean and organized. Outbound calling to reschedule patients’ appointments when designated.
