About The Position
Northline Dental is looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk team member to join our growing dental practice in Southgate! At Northline Dental, we believe dental care should be comfortable, personalized, and centered around the patient. Our team takes pride in creating a welcoming, non-judgmental environment while providing high-quality care ranging from routine cleanings to restorative treatments, implants, extractions, crowns, and root canal therapy. We're looking for someone who will be the warm and welcoming face of our practice and help make every patient's experience exceptional from the moment they call or walk through our doors.
Requirements
- Previous dental front office experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance and dental terminology
- Experience with scheduling and patient management software is a plus
- Excellent communication and phone skills
- Professional, friendly, and compassionate personality
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a busy dental office
- Dependable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements with patients
- A genuine desire to help patients feel comfortable and cared for
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming first impression
- Answer phones and assist patients with questions and scheduling
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
- Check patients in and out
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments
- Present financial options and help patients understand treatment costs
- Coordinate treatment appointments and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate patient records and information
- Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, assistants, and the rest of the team
- Help manage the daily flow of the office
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments and recommended treatment
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout every patient interaction
