About The Position
LivSmart Studios by Hilton Salt Lake City West Valley City is seeking a Front Desk Attendant. This full-time position offers competitive wages starting at $14-16/hr, with opportunities for raises and commission based on performance. The role involves managing guest reservations, processing transactions, coordinating with hotel departments, and maintaining the front desk and lobby.
Requirements

- Strong verbal & non-verbal communication skills, in person and over the phone
- Organized & high attention to detail
- Competent computer & software abilities
- Abide by hotel brand standards for level of service
- Identify & overcome guest issues quickly and attentively
Responsibilities
- Manage guest reservations i.e. check-ins, check-outs, and complete reservations online & over the phone
- Processing credit card & cash transactions
- Effectively coordinate with all other hotel departments to provide Superior Service
- Daily Activity Reports and deposit drops
- Maintaining Front Desk and Hotel Lobby clean and organized. Weekly deep cleaning assigned
- Doing property & pool checks
- Occasional package shipment or receiving
- Manage incoming guest calls and reservations
- Sales skills for new reservations including rates and availability
- Comprehensive knowledge of the property i.e. room types, amenities, breakfast service, etc.
- Approachable, hospitable demeanor when interacting with guests in person and over the phone
- Abide by company policies and ensure guest security by following procedures as set forth in Company Handbook
- Being able and willing to perform other tasks that may be asked by management including flexible work hours
