About The Position

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for managing guest reservations, processing transactions, coordinating with hotel departments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby. This role requires proactive customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest issues effectively. The position also involves sales skills for new reservations and a comprehensive knowledge of the property's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest reservations including check-ins, check-outs, and completing reservations online & over the phone.
  • Process credit card & cash transactions.
  • Effectively coordinate with all other hotel departments to provide Superior Service.
  • Prepare Daily Activity Reports and deposit drops.
  • Maintain Front Desk and Hotel Lobby clean and organized, including weekly deep cleaning.
  • Perform property & pool checks.
  • Handle occasional package shipment or receiving.
  • Manage incoming guest calls and reservations.
  • Utilize sales skills for new reservations, including rates and availability.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the property, including room types, amenities, and breakfast service.
  • Maintain an approachable, hospitable demeanor when interacting with guests in person and over the phone.
  • Abide by company policies and ensure guest security by following procedures as set forth in the Company Handbook.
  • Be able and willing to perform other tasks as requested by management, including flexible work hours.
