About The Position

The Front Desk Associate provides superior customer service to current CLUB4 Fitness members and prospective members. The role handles front desk activities, assists with membership sign-ups and facility tours, updates member accounts, responds to questions and concerns, and supports the Club’s neatness and cleanliness.

• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively and professionally with members and coworkers and exceed members’ expectations.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathize with Club members and problem-solve in partnership with Club management personnel.
• Demonstrate diplomacy and professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Continual standing and walking during the shift.
• Continual talking in person or on the phone during the shift.
• Close reading while working on computer equipment, along with some repetitive motions while typing and performing cleaning activities.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regular exposure to certain chemicals related to cleaning products.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service background preferred.
• CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members, and guests while providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle front desk-related activities.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members into the PEAK/ABC IGNITE purchasing system.
• Assist with the new membership sign-up process.
• Take prospective members on tours of the Club facility.
• Update member account information as needed.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to the Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the Club.
• Complete daily Club cleaning assignments.
