About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is the welcoming face of The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, responsible for creating a positive first impression and helping guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay. The role provides exceptional customer service, handles guest arrivals and departures, responds to questions and concerns, and shares information about local attractions, dining, and hotel amenities. The agent works with other departments to support seamless guest experiences and maintains an organized front desk while accurately processing cash and credit card transactions. The position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous cash handling experience.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of hotel property management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check.
