About The Position

The Front Desk Agent plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This position assists guests with inquiries and needs throughout registration, their stay, and checkout, ensuring every interaction is warm, efficient, and professional.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult or upset guests.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Prolonged periods standing at the front desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Opera PMS Knowledge
  • At least one year of front desk or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily front desk functions to ensure smooth, timely check‑ins and checkouts.
  • Greet all guests warmly and professionally.
  • Direct guests to appropriate hotel staff for questions or special requests related to dining, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping.
  • Handle all guest requests with courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of final bills.
  • Maintain a clean, organized lobby and shared spaces.
  • Stay informed on hotel policies, room rates, discounts, special offerings, and local events.
  • Maintain familiarity with the Niagara Falls area to provide directions and recommendations.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.
