About The Position

As a Front Desk Agent, you are the face of the hotel and the first impression for every guest. You’ll create a welcoming, seamless arrival and departure experience while delivering thoughtful, personalized service that reflects the unique spirit of our property.

Requirements

  • A naturally warm, engaging personality with a passion for hospitality
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay composed and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with transactions and systems
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods at the front desk
  • Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds when needed
  • Proficiency with computers and reservation systems
  • Basic math and cash-handling skills

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently while personalizing each interaction
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and the Central West End neighborhood
  • Anticipate guest needs and go beyond expectations to deliver standout service
  • Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns with care and ownership
  • Deliver thoughtful service recovery to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Support a culture of hospitality by embracing our GUEST service model: Greet warmly, Use the guest’s name, Establish needs, Solve and own requests, Thank every guest
  • Process reservations, updates, and cancellations accurately
  • Handle cash and credit transactions with precision and accountability
  • Promote room upgrades and services to enhance the guest experience
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Collaborate across departments to deliver a seamless guest experience
  • Assist with concierge-style services, guest tours, and special requests
  • Step in where needed to support the team and hotel operations
