About The Position
As a Front Desk Agent at TownePlace Suites Portland Hillsboro, you will create memorable guest experiences by serving as the first impression for arriving guests and responding promptly and courteously to questions, requests, and complaints throughout their stays. You will provide friendly, efficient check-in and check-out service, coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest needs, share information about local attractions and hotel facilities, handle calls and reservations, and process guest charges accurately.
Requirements
- Previous guest-facing customer service experience in a fast-paced environment is ideal.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, write, type, and use basic technology.
- Ability to stand for an entire shift.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities
- Provide guests with a friendly, efficient, and error-free check-in and check-out experience.
- Coordinate with other departments to handle guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer questions about the local area and hotel facilities and provide directions and resources.
- Use proper phone etiquette, including transferring calls, taking messages, and making reservations.
- Follow cash-handling procedures and post and reconcile charges on guest receipts.
- Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
