About The Position
Join our welcoming team at the Hampton Inn I-75 Lexington/Hamburg Area, conveniently located off I-75 at Exit 110 in the heart of Kentucky Bluegrass Country! We're proud to offer clean, comfortable accommodations with our signature Hampton hospitality, free hot breakfast, indoor pool, and easy access to downtown Lexington, the University of Kentucky, horse farms, and major attractions. As part of the Hilton family, we prioritize guest satisfaction and team member growth. We are seeking friendly, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to serve as our Front Desk Agents. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, delivering exceptional service while handling check-ins/check-outs, reservations, and daily hotel operations.
Requirements
- Previous hotel front desk, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred (but not required—we provide training!)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency (experience with hotel PMS systems like OnQ, and PEP is a plus)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm, professional attitude
- Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently using hotel systems
- Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Manage guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
- Process payments, handle cash/credit transactions, and balance daily reports
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Promote hotel services, loyalty programs, and upsell opportunities when appropriate
