About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, with more than 120 locations across California and Arizona. The Front Crew member helps provide a positive dining experience by serving customers, taking orders, using the POS system, and keeping the restaurant clean and safe. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist with orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the POS system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks to maintain store cleanliness.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
