About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving authentic Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, prepared from fresh ingredients. The Front Crew member helps provide customers with a positive dining experience by delivering customer service, taking and processing orders, serving food, and keeping the restaurant clean and safe. The role requires compliance with health codes, safety procedures, company policies, and the Front Crew Training Guideline. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist customers with their orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
