About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and other island specialties. The Front Crew member helps provide a positive dining experience by assisting customers, taking orders, using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant. The position may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
Basic math skills.
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
Follow company policies and procedures and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist with orders.
Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
Operate the POS system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
