About The Position

As a Front Crew member at Ono Hawaiian BBQ, you help ensure customers have a positive dining experience. The role includes providing customer service, taking orders, operating the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handling payments, serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment. Employment may be part-time or full-time.

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties. It prepares food from scratch daily and grills it to order. The company has more than 100 locations across California and Arizona and aims to bring Hawaiian culture and the “Aloha” spirit to its restaurants through exceptional service and an inviting atmosphere.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with health codes and safety procedures.
• Understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Understand and comply with the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist customers with their orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new product items to customers.
• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Perform cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by performing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
